ILANA DIAMANT

DIRECTOR/ PRODUCER

A writer, researcher, producer, and director currently wreaking havoc in Berlin, Germany. She has researched and produced short and feature broadcast documentaries, winning a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award in 2021 for her work with WQED. Her work has largely tackled issues of injustice and prejudice, such as the animated adaptation of Hold On to Your Music and The Good Fight: Armen vs. Giuliani. A lover of dramatic arts and performance but lacking much talent in either, she became a KJ (karaoke jockey) in 2022, which is, in fact, a real job (please tell her dad!) When she’s not continuing work on her many scripts or knee-deep in the archives, you can find her assisting central Europeans with finding the correct rhythm to “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield.
